In February we began a special “Polonia Czyta Dzieciom” (Poles Abroad Read To Children) initiative. Our volunteers of different ages recorded short films where they read their favourite Polish language poems, fairy tales and short stories. This initiative was directed to those Polish children who might struggle in times of pandemic. We thought that introducing them to the classics of Polish children’s literature might be good for the young minds. Anybody could record their own short video and post it on our Facebook page with the hashtag #poloniaczytadzieciom.
